The European Voluntary Service (EVS) forms part of ERASMUS+, a European Union programme that promotes the mobility of young people through international activities with a non-formal education dimension. EVS offers young people the opportunity to volunteer up to twelve months in another countries, for example, Poland. Christian Primary School “Salomon” situated in Zielona Gόra, offers a project to these volunteers according the European Union conditions. During this school year, three volunteers from Italy, Spain and Hungary will work with children in different activities. During the course, the volunteers learn how to work with children under the guidance of teachers who moderate these activities, helping at the beginning, but over time giving volunteers initiative. The project is implemented by the methods of activating the participants. In addition, the workshops will be prepared for special events taking place every two months for the whole school and the local environment.
